Wissen für politische Entscheidungen: Wie Forschung unseren Alltag mitgestaltet

More

How do we generate knowledge for a better society? How do concrete policy solutions to the challenges of our time emerge? And what role do research and science play in this process?

In this interactive workshop, you’ll gain fascinating insights into projects that demonstrate how scientific findings find their way into policy and society. At various discussion stations, you’ll learn about concrete examples across a wide range of fields: digital tools for the UN, new approaches to creating more housing in cities, and sustainable plant-based value chains.

Engage in conversation with researchers, discuss current social issues, and discover how scientific ideas are transformed into practical solutions. Share your own perspectives and learn how dialogue between science, politics, and government can contribute to well-informed decisions.

The projects presented come from the Albert Einstein School of Public Policy at ETH Zurich. There, researchers and students work together with stakeholders from politics, government, and international organizations to make research knowledge accessible to society.
