In this short lecture, Prof. Dr. Manfred Heuberger explains what PFAS are, why they are so useful from a technical standpoint, and why they are also a cause for concern in terms of both the environment and human health. Finally, we’ll take a look at how we might deal with these “forever chemicals” over the next ten years.
