Keynote presentation and workshop at the Gesundheitszentrum Bombach
Join us on an interactive and exciting journey through the world of medication safety. The focus is on: How can medication errors be prevented?
In the keynote presentation, a doctor will explain the basics and risks associated with multiple chronic conditions and polypharmacy in older adults. Afterward, we’ll reveal just how much science lies behind the infamous “Room of Horrors” (escape room). We’ll also introduce PatBox.ch, a platform where patients and their loved ones can report incidents.
In small groups, you’ll go through two stations:
- Room of Horrors: Find the errors and pitfalls in medication processes—set up like an escape room, but with life-saving lessons.
- Tour of the facility: Visit the pharmacy, the medication cart, and the emergency cart, and see how the systems work in everyday life.
