Why do disinformation and conspiracy theories spread so quickly? What motivations lie behind them? What impact does AI have on fake news? And how can they be uncovered?

In this 120-minute workshop, participants explore the theoretical background and learn methods and tools to distinguish fact from fiction. Participants have the opportunity to play “Newsmaker”, a game developed by the ZB, and experience firsthand experience firsthand how difficult it can be to distinguish reliable information from misinformation in everyday situations.
