At the Department for Quantitative Biomedicine (UZH, Irchel Campus), experts from different fields work together to investigate human diseases. Our goal is to improve “Precision Medicine” so that doctors can offer personalized treatments and achieve better outcomes for their patients.

Join our lab tour and become a cancer and brain researcher for an hour! The tour will focus on the questions “What holds our brain together?” and “what holds a tumor together?”. Our junior scientists look forward to showing you why, where and how they are gaining new insights into devastating diseases such as breast cancer and the neurodegenerative diseases amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) and frontotemporal dementia (FTD). Dive into the innovative world of quantitative biomedicine with us and learn how we are working towards improving the healthcare of tomorrow.
