Locations and how to get there

For the second time, Scientifica will take place at three locations. In addition to the main buildings in the center, we also offer an attractive program, especially for families, at the Irchel Campus of the UZH and the Hönggerberg Campus of the ETH. Take the opportunity to get to know the two external locations of the universities better.

Scientifica Shuttle

No matter where you start your visit at Scientifica: The free shuttle bus will take you quickly and easily to the other two locations. It runs approximately every 10 minutes on the route Center – Hönggerberg – Irchel – Center. The respective stops are signposted.

Please use public transportation to visit Scientifica.

Center

Hauptgebäude der UZH ud ETH aus der Luft

In the main buildings of UZH and ETH, you can expect exhibition stands, short lectures, workshops, guided tours, two Science Cafés, the Zoological Museum, focusTerra and the Graphische Sammlung. Street Food on Karl-Schmid-Strasse and the Polymensa will take care of your physical well-being.

Irchel

Embedded in the Irchelpark, the campus offers an exciting program for the whole family: In addition to exhibition stands, you will find workshops for children and young people, guided tours, and entertaining science shows. Thematically, much revolves around computers, robotics, physics and health.

Food stands will also ensure that you don’t go hungry or thirsty.

Hönggerberg

In addition to the numerous exhibition stands, you can expect workshops for the whole family, the Active Weekend exercise course for children and exciting guided tours in laboratories on the Hönggerberg, where the focus will be on topics such as nature and the environment, biodiversity and architecture. Globi will also be present on the Hönggerberg.

Food will be available at street food stands in the Food Market or at the Science Café in the Alumni Lounge.
