At our booth, discover how satellites measure tiny changes in the Earth’s surface, atmosphere and gravity field. Learn how scientists use these observations to monitor natural hazards, improve weather forecasts, support navigation systems and study climate change. Explore the fascinating world of space geodesy – the science of measuring Earth from space – and find out how modern satellite technology turns tiny signals into valuable knowledge about our planet.

Visitors of all ages can enjoy animated visualizations, videos of satellite missions, and discover models of the GRACE satellites and a Galileo satellite. Children can build their own paper satellites or colour space-themed illustrations, while others can learn how satellites continuously help us better understand our changing world. Through interactive demonstrations and hands-on activities, you will see that space science is not distant or abstract, it plays an important role in our everyday lives.
