Discover Innovation through play with mint & pepper

Mint & pepper inspires children and teens to get excited about technology and research. At the booth, you can take part in interactive workshops on robotics, programming, and medical technology—and see for yourself how innovative technologies are shaping our everyday lives and the future.

More

mint & pepper develops educational programmes that inspire children and young people to take an interest in STEM, research, start-ups and future-oriented topics. In interactive workshops, they discover in a playful way how robotics, programming, medical technology and artificial intelligence are used in everyday life, and how research helps to find solutions to societal challenges.

At the exhibition stand, visitors can gain an insight into the various programmes offered by mint & pepper. One example is the ‘nanomed 4life’ workshop: here, children and young people experience in a playful way how modern technologies make medical treatments faster, more precise and safer. In the interactive play and challenge area, they can try out for themselves how medical technology, computer science and magnetic fields work together. The workshop was inspired by the start-up Nanoflex Robotics, which is developing a tele-robotic system for the treatment of strokes.

In the ‘Rolli:Code’ workshop, children and young people discover how robotics and computer science can make everyday life easier for people with disabilities and break down barriers. They can control a programmed wheelchair themselves. The workshop was inspired by the start-up ‘Versive’, which is developing a smart wheelchair designed to enable greater independence and mobility through intuitive controls.
