Research Focus Areas

With three departments – Orthopedics, Paraplegiology, and Chiropractic – we cover the entire spectrum of musculoskeletal medicine: from biomechanics and materials science to rehabilitation following spinal cord injuries, musculoskeletal imaging, and conservative treatment approaches. Our facilities – the Balgrist Campus, OR-X, CTU Balgrist, the Digital Medicine Unit, and the 3D Planning Center – enable cutting-edge translational research.
