AI TO EYE – Between Code and Conscience

In a walk-through installation, cameras track your every move, bringing the topics of artificial intelligence, surveillance and data protection to life in an emotional way. Voices from the worlds of science, medicine and culture provide context and encourage reflection.
What does it feel like to be constantly watched? Step inside a walk-through installation where dozens of cameras track your every move. Light, sound and a striking presentation create an atmosphere that gets under your skin – and suddenly makes the abstract concept of surveillance feel very real.
The installation brings to life how artificial intelligence, large language models, social media and the increasing collection of data are changing our everyday lives. It encourages visitors to reflect on transparency, privacy and the handling of personal data.
Outside the walk-through installation, large screens enhance the experience: researchers, medical professionals, artists, journalists, industry representatives and other figures share their views on the opportunities and risks of artificial intelligence in our society. In this way, a personal experience gives rise to a societal discussion about one of the most important questions of our time: how much automation and control are we willing to allow – and what does it mean to remain human in a world shaped by AI?
