Wie bremst man unkontrolliert wachsende Krebszellen?

Insights into cancer research at the University of Zurich.

For the normal functioning of an organism, cell division and cell renewal must be strictly controlled. If errors occur in the regulation of these processes, this can lead to cancer. It is important to study these processes to understand cancer development and to develop new therapies. This panel discussion will present four projects on different types of cancer that are funded by the Krebsliga Zürich.

  • Blood cancer: How do leukaemia cells communicate with their environment in the bone marrow?
  • Sarcomas are rare, malignant tumours that originate in the supporting or connective tissue. What are the options for treating these cancer cells?
  • Pancreatic cancer; What is the most efficient way to treat pancreatic cancer cells today ?
  • Brain tumours; How do we succeed in destroying therapy-resistant brain tumour cells?

Visitors can expect exciting insights into current cancer research at the University of Zurich.
