From blessing robots to digital cemeteries
Individual conversations in English and German
Religion is not spared from digitization. What religious offerings do already exist in the digital world and what role does technology play in today’s religious society?
In this workshop, we provide you with a “human library” with staff members of the University Research Priority Program Digital Religions. You can “borrow” a person for ten minutes and have a conversation with them about digital religion or ask them questions about how modern technologies and applications are used by people of faith. Or you can discuss with her about how we understand religion in modern society in the first place. After ten minutes, the lending period is over and the human book is lent to another person.
