Eine Führung durch die städtischen Drogenkonsumräume
Guided tour with audioguide (in German)
Drug use is a social reality. The city of Zurich has adopted an addiction-accepting drug policy aligned with the national four-pillar strategy: prevention, therapy, harm reduction, and repression. In the realm of psychoactive substances, the city’s approach revolves around these pillars.
Join us on a guided tour of the Contact and Drop-in Centre (K&A) Selnau in District 1 to learn about Zurich’s progressive drug policy. Operated by the Department of Social Affairs, the drug consumption rooms prioritize harm reduction, providing a safe space for drug users to consume substances hygienically. Outside of operating hours, with an audio guide, hear from individuals of a social fringe group and gain insight into their perspectives on life, community, and what they believe brings society together.
Guided tour: Cornelia Wietlisbach (Supervisor K&A)
