This immersive tour takes you into the OR-X (Operating Room X), the surgical training and research center of Balgrist University Hospital and the University of Zurich, where new technologies and surgical procedures are explored in a highly realistic operating room environment.

Participants gain insights into a unique surgical ecosystem, where clinicians, researchers and technology partners work closely together to advance surgical innovation. While exploring the operating room and skills lab of the OR-X, they encounter current developments in robotics, surgical data science and augmented reality, discovering how research and surgical training increasingly go hand in hand.

The meeting point for this tour is located in front of the OR-X entrance on the visitor parking level of Balgrist University Hospital.
