During growth these cells specialize to perform certain tasks, e.g., as they form our organs or limbs. Very often the number of a specific type of cells needs to be precisely controlled so that we do not end up with limbs or organs that are too big or too small.<\/p>\n<p>During this workshop you will learn how synthetic biology can help to steer cells to a specific outcome.
