Personalized cancer therapy is the most promising way forward to find effective therapies for these critically ill children aiming to provide families with a direction where currently no curative treatments exist.<\/p>\n<p>This Science Caf\u00e9 shows how researchers from diverse disciplines such as data science, biology and medicine collaborate in practice to enable the tailoring of therapies for an individual child. In addition, visitors find out about the path from drug assessment in a petri dish to clinical application. This avenue is becoming increasingly important not only for pediatric cancer applications, but for modern healthcare solutions in general.
