Cancer research investigates the phenomena of &#8220;what&#8217;s going wrong&#8221; and where the molecules are that exhibit misbehavior. It also shows how cancer research contributes to the search for new therapeutic approaches. It will be explored how the &#8220;misbehavior&#8221; of nature can be corrected, for example, to prevent the unchecked growth of cancer cells. It will also address the issue that what are often perceived as &#8220;artificial&#8221; interventions (drugs, radiation, surgery) are designed to correct &#8220;misguided natural phenomena&#8221; such as those that occur during cancer development.<\/p>\n<p>Panelists:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Prof. David Nadal<\/strong>, MD, co-president of the Academy of Human Medicine, president of the Zurich Cantonal Ethics Committee.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Prof. Dr. Maries van den Broek<\/strong>, Professor of Tumor Immunology and Vice Dean Research University of Zurich<\/li>\n<li><strong>Dr. med.
