That\u2019s how the story of MAGIE (Fairy Tales as Points of Reference for Shaping Individual Development Patterns) might begin. Because the MAGIE project keeps fairy tales alive and retells them again and again:<\/p>\n<p>During \u201cMAGIE Storytime,\u201d we read modern adaptations of fairy tales such as Hansel and Gretel or Prince Fairyfoot and invite children and adults alike to immerse themselves in these fantastical narrative worlds.<\/p>\n<p>In the \u201cMAGIE Workshop Report,\u201d we demonstrate how fairy tales can be reimagined, adapted, and linguistically refined using our MAGIE AI Fairy Tale Generator. In doing so, we ask: Which characters, motifs, and values belong in today\u2019s fairy tales? Where is there a need for diversity, child-friendly language, and pedagogical care?<\/p>\n<p>Whether they\u2019re modern adaptations of classics or newly generated stories, these fairy tales emerge from the interplay of developmental psychology, cultural and fairy-tale knowledge, participatory idea generation, and AI.
