Which tree species are best suited to the forests of the future? And how is climate change transforming our woodlands? On this guided tour, you will explore the Waldlabor Zurich on the H\u00f6nggerberg and discover how researchers are tackling these questions.<\/p>\n

Together, we will walk into the H\u00f6nggerberg forest and visit the arboretum, a unique collection of Central European trees and shrubs. You will discover the diversity of native woody plants and learn how different species have adapted to a wide range of environmental conditions.<\/p>\n

Along the way, you will gain fascinating insights into the evolution and adaptability of trees. Together, we will discuss which species are likely to cope better with drought and rising temperatures, the opportunities and risks of planting new species, and how our forests can become more resilient to climate change.<\/p>\n
