We\u2019re all familiar with the catchphrases: \u201cBig Data is the new oil\u201d and \u201cArtificial Intelligence (AI) is the new engine\u201d. Furthermore, AI is considered \u201cour final invention\u201d and heralds the \u201csecond machine age\u201d. But what does that actually mean? Where are we headed? How will our society and our lives change? Concepts such as Society 5.0, the \u201cInternet of Bodies\u201d, or neurocapitalism illustrate just how far-reaching fantasies of digital control have become today. At the heart of the matter is the question of whether and how people and societies could be controlled by AI.<\/p>\n
