Join artist Isabell Bullerschen as she immerses you in the mixed-reality installation Val Mucilaginosa and discover two worlds of healing knowledge. Val Mucilaginosa combines ethnobotanical research on the use of plants as remedies with insights from biochemistry. The artwork views healing not as fixed knowledge, but as a living, relational process.<\/p>\n

Visitors move between two poles, which are visualized through sculptures. One \u2013 Soma \u2013 represents rational phytotherapy and molecular analysis; the other \u2013 Aetheris \u2013 is rooted in rituals, care, and transcendent relationships. You can experience knowledge about the healing power of plants through different senses and reflect on how different systems of knowledge can engage in dialogue with one another, giving rise to new knowledge.<\/p>\n

In addition to the immersive experience of Val Mucilaginosa, participants will produce a video of up to 30 seconds in which they can explain the concept of Viriditas.<\/p>\n
