The impressive diversity of life forms on our planet came about through evolution – and this process continues to take place every day. What is evolution from a biological point of view? How does it come about? How is it examined in scientific studies in the laboratory and demonstrated in the natural habitat of species? Examples from the current special exhibition “evolution happens!” will be used to discuss these and other questions.
