Barrierefreiheit: Technologie – Hilfe oder Hürde?
About ETH’s contribution to accessibility, self-determination and inclusion of people with disabilities
Science Café in German
What does ETH Zurich contribute to accessibility, self-determination, and inclusion of people with physical disabilities –at ETH itself and in society? To what extent are people without disabilities also dependent on accessibility – in old age, after an accident, or on the road with a stroller? We look into the”Design for All” approach in the built, artificial environment and do a live presentation of a so-called robotic hand orthosis. Input presentations by the programme “Barrier-free at ETH Zurich” and the developer of an artificial active/robotic hand orthosis offer insights and invite dialogue. The event will be simultaneously subtitled in German.
